This Almost Convinced Beck Radio Hosts to Give Money to Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders

"How much would you pay? I'd donate 50 bucks to that."

TheBlaze Radio hosts Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere were so amused by Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders' 1987 folk album, in which the self-described Democratic socialist croons songs like "This Land Is Your Land," that they jokingly offered to donate money for a new album.

"He's the type of guy, he might just adopt this as his campaign song now," Burguiere said, laughing as he listened to Sanders' music. "Now that it's out, do you just embrace it and go with it? In fact I would say, where is a new album? I would pay for that. Can we get a Kickstarter on the way for a new Bernie Sanders album?"

You can listen to Sanders' rendition of "This Land Is Your Land," below:

Laughing at Sanders' pronunciation of the words "walking" and "saw," Gray agreed: "How much would you pay? I'd donate 50 bucks to that."

"Seriously, somebody needs to start one of those up, Kickstarter or GoFundMe or something for a Bernie Sanders new album," Burguiere said. "How do we not have that?"

Burguiere said there would have to be a delayed form of payment so Sanders doesn't use the proceeds to fund his campaign, but Gray joked that he doesn't care what Sanders does with the money.

"If he wins the presidency with it, it was worth it," he said. "It was was worth it."

"The country is going down the crap heap anyway," Burguiere agreed with a laugh. "Might as well make it entertaining."
