We Need a Miracle': 'Duck Dynasty' Star Pleads for Fans to 'Storm the Gates of Heaven' With Prayer for Child With Inoperable Brain Tumor
August 04, 2015
"I will pray for all of you as well."
"Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson is once again using her celebrity status for a good cause, posting a photo of a little girl who has an inoperable brain tumor and imploring her followers to "storm the gates of heaven" in fervent prayer for a miracle.
"This is Katie Joyce. Her family found out she has a brain tumor and its on her brain stem," Robertson wrote in the caption. "The doctors say we need a miracle. The only thing that can fix this is if we storm the gates of heaven."
The "Dancing With the Stars" season 19 runner-up went on to encourage her fans to write messages of encouragement, and invited them to write prayer needs of their own.

The post attracted more than 156,000 likes as well as 8,800 comments, with many people offering prayers for healing and sharing their own plights with the "Duck Dynasty" star.
"God bless this little bundle of joy and keep her in your arms and keep the family thinking positive and praying and also bless any others who need it!" one person wrote, offering hope for healing to Katie.
Another added, "God has a plan for her, her family, and her friends. Sending out lots of prayers for her. With God, everything is possible."
