A drone camera recently captured some incredible footage of a “red hot lava lake in freezing cold Iceland.”
The video, originally captured by videographer Eric Cheng in February, “shows smoke and fire burning off the black marbled lava.”

The video’s description on Barcroft TV’s YouTube channel notes that the “lake is part of the huge Holuhraun lava field which started erupting in the Nordic country in 2014 and is around 84 sq km – which is almost the size of Manhattan.”
"How crazy," one YouTube commenter said.
"INCREDIBLE!!!" another commented.
