"After reviewing the events of the past four evenings."

St. Louis County has lifted its state of emergency for Ferguson, Missouri.

"After reviewing the events of the past four evenings, under the state of emergency, I am pleased to report our law enforcement have established order while preventing further acts of violence in Ferguson," St. Louis County executive Steve Stenger said in a statement.

The state of emergency order was issued after a tumultuous weekend of demonstrations marking one year since the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a white police officer.

Tyrone Harris, 18, was shot and critically wounded by police officers Sunday night after authorities said he fired at officers.
