Donald Trump Says He'd Drop Out of the Presidential Race if He Began 'Doing Poorly' in This Area
October 04, 2015
“I’m not a masochist."
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump made sure to emphasize in his "Meet the Press" interview Sunday that he's ahead in the GOP polls: "I'm leading everything, by a lot."
But Trump also told host Chuck Todd that if his poll numbers began to decline to the point "where I saw that I wasn’t gonna win," he would drop out of the 2016 race.
“I’m not a masochist,” he said.
"If I were doing poorly, if I saw myself going down, if you would stop calling me 'cause you no longer have any interest in Trump because he has no chance, I'd go back to my business," Trump said. "I have no problem with that."
