When Hillary Clinton was asked by a local news reporter if there is "anything wrong with Democratic socialism," the Democratic candidate provided a dodging answer.
“Well, I’m a progressive Democrat so I’m not going to comment on labels other people apply to themselves,” Clinton said.
She did ultimately clarify that she does not consider herself a "Democratic socialist."
Clinton’s biggest Democratic rival at the moment, Bernie Sanders, happens to be a self-described Democratic socialist. The difference between a Democratic socialist and a regular socialist is a topic that will continue to be debated.
