CNN Host Shreds 'The View' for 'Double Standard' on Fiorina: 'I Saw Something Today That Angered Me

A CNN anchor spent two minutes of her Thursday program tearing into "The View" for highly critical comments its hosts made about Carly Fiorina's appearance.

During a post-debate discussion, one host said the Republican presidential contender's face looked "demented" while another joked that she wished "it was a Halloween mask."

CNN host Brooke Baldwin was not amused.

"Call it like you see it. And I saw something today that angered me. Not just as a journalist, but as a woman," she said before playing clips from the daytime show.

"Listen, I love 'The View.' ... But ladies, come on. Double standard much?" Baldwin asked.

The CNN host noted how women reacted when Trump criticized Fiorina's appearance, but couldn't seem to understand why it was OK for "The View" hosts to do so.

"All I'm saying is we women can be the worst to one another. We say, 'Don't talk about their looks.' ... We can do better than that," she said.
