Evelyn Markus is the daughter Holocaust survivors from the Netherlands. Her parents beat the odds — it is estimated that nearly 80 percent of the Dutch Jews were killed in Nazi concentration camps. After the war, her family settled in Amsterdam, where they embraced and celebrated life.
However, 70 years after the liberation of Europe, there are troubling signs that some of history’s darkest days are returning. Facing mounting threats and anti-Semitic attacks, Evelyn left the only home she ever knew and moved to the United States.
Now, Evelyn Markus is on a mission she never imagined she would have to take. TheBlaze Documentary Films presents her story, “Never Again Is Now,” Thursday, Nov. 19, at 8:00 pm ET only TheBlaze TV.
