This Is the Hillary Clinton Policy Rush Limbaugh Says Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton Would Call 'Racist' if the GOP Proposed It

Rush Limbaugh took to radio Tuesday morning claiming that Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton's latest proposal for free abortions for Medicaid recipients had been offered by the GOP, the Rev. Jesse Jackson would be shouting, "Racism!"

"What is abortion?  Abortion is the killing of human life in the womb. Who is on Medicaid?  The nation's poor," Limbaugh said on his eponymous radio program. "Mrs. Clinton, therefore, is offering free abortions for the nation's poor."

Limbaugh, who believes Clinton's campaign is "imploding," says the presidential hopeful and the Democratic Party are "wiping out their own people" with this abortion proposal, yet she is being "praised to the heavens" for her "compassionate" policy.

However, Limbaugh doesn't believe Jackson or the Rev. Al Sharpton would be nearly as receptive to the controversial proposition if it were a Republican who was presenting the policy.

"If a Republican came along and suggested free abortions for people on Medicaid, the first person to stand up would be Jesse Jackson and start shouting, 'Racism!'" Limbaugh said. "And then Al Sharpton wouldn't be as far behind."

Limbaugh says that Sharpton and Jackson would paint the plan, if proposed by the GOP, as "an attempt to eliminate the people of color by the dastardly, rascally Republicans."

According to Limbaugh, this policy — along with proposals on gun control and taxation of the rich — is an attempt to save the Democratic Party because "nothing they have done is working." In addition, the radio personality says the "long knives are coming out" against Clinton, citing rival Democratic candidate Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' commanding 14-point lead in New Hampshire.

"Bernie Sanders was never supposed to be anything other than a placeholder and an occupier of a chair to make it look like Hillary had overcome and had won a fight, won a struggle, that, therefore, she was capable," Limbaugh said.

"It is a sure sign things are in a state of disarray," he concluded.

"I mean, look at all of the old stand-bys in the liberal Democrat playbook that they're going back to. ... They go back to gun control. It's also a sign that their base is not unified," Limbaugh said. "The Democrat Party is in as much trouble as the Republican Party is for different reasons."
