Watch the Moment This Mother 'Fell Completely in Love' With Her Premature Son

A video showing the moment a mother held her premature son for the first time and "fell completely in love with him" went viral since it was first published on Facebook about a week ago.
The video was posted on on the Facebook page for the New York-based "Love What Matters" group, which describes itself on its website as an organization that shares "inspiring personal stories of love, hope and what matters most." The description on the post states that the video shows the first time that a woman named Jessica held Hugo, her 10-weeks-premature son who had just been delivered via C-section. Immediately after his delivery, Hugo was whisked away to the NICU, and Jessica needed some time to recover before she could hold him.

In the video, a woman who appears to be a nurse hands Jessica her baby almost 60 hours after his birth. The unnamed person who posted the video to the "Love What Matters" Facebook page wrote, "I took this video hoping to catch a moment, never did I anticipate seeing the exact moment that she fell completely in love with him. The bond between Mother and Son immediately solidified. I hope that this video can show people that Love is the most important thing in anyone's life. Without it we will simply exist, when the goal is to live."
Since it was posted, the video has garnered more than 7.3 million views and has been shared almost 46,000 times.
