Actor and comedian Garry Schandling has died at age 66.
According to TMZ, a 911 call came in from his Los Angeles-area home Thursday morning and he was taken to nearby hospital. He was still alive when he arrived at the medical facility. He did not have any known illnesses.

A source connected to Schandling told TMZ that the 66-year-old appeared healthy and was talking to people Thursday morning.
Shandling was best known for being on "It's Garry Shandling's Show" and "The Larry Sanders Show."
Shandling tweeted out a photo as recently as Sunday of him with friends Kathy Griffin and Bob Odenkirk.
