Watch: New Clinton campaign ad imagines a Trump presidency

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign released a new web ad Friday that it said previews Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s first year in office should he be elected president.

The ad, titled “Rewind,” shows imagined “newscasts” regarding a Trump administration. It begins with his order to ban Muslims from entering the United States in November 2017 and “rewinds” to earlier in the year, showing reports about “President Trump” defaulting on the nation’s debt, ordering deportation raids and permitting Russia to invade Eastern Europe.

The ad then shows a “newscast” from November 2016, which declares that Trump won the presidency.

“Reality has no rewind,” it cautions.

A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign said in a press release that the ad “highlights what could happen if America elects someone so unqualified and unfit to be Commander-in-Chief, and what Trump’s dangerous and divisive vision would mean for Americans.”

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign did not immediately return TheBlaze’s request for comment about the ad.
