I didn't have to bring J-Lo or Jay-Z': Trump mocks Clinton for campaigning with celebrities

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during a campaign rally Friday blasted Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton for campaigning with celebrities, boasting that he doesn't need the help of other famous people to draw big crowds.

Trump's comments came during a rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, as he was assessing the size of his crowd.

"We are going to do it. Oh boy we are going to win. We are going to win Pennsylvania big," Trump said. "I hear we set a new record for this building."

"And by the way, I didn't have to bring J-Lo or Jay-Z — the only way she gets anybody, I am here all by myself," he added. "Just me, no guitar, no piano, no nothing."

Though he didn't have any celebrities at his side, Trump quipped that he did have a "great vision" to aid him.

"But you know what we do have?" Trump asked rhetorically. "It's all of us, it's all the same — we all have great ideas and great vision for our country."

In the run-up to Election Day, Clinton's campaign rallies have featured a myriad of celebrities — Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, Chance the Rapper and others — with the hopes they could help bolster her rapport among younger voters.
