President-elect Donald Trump sounded off on social media early Tuesday morning with a comment about the role of the Electoral College.
With most of the votes already tabulated, Trump is expected to lose the popular vote. Although he criticized the "rigged" system many times throughout the campaign, he felt the need to defend his win by way of his favorite outlet: Twitter.

This is much different from what he tweeted in November 2012, when he said that the Electoral College was a "disaster for democracy":
