Video: Chairs fly as all-out chaos erupts at Houston restaurant

An all-out brawl broke out at a Houston restaurant Tuesday night — and the entire incident was caught on camera.

The incident reportedly started around 10:45 in the bar area of Bayou City Wings. That's where police say a man sitting at the bar was asked to join a group of other patrons at a table behind him, but then went back to sit at the bar after becoming uncomfortable at the table. The man then went into the restroom, where he encountered one of the other men from the group.

The two exchanged words, and the man then went back to the bar. A member of the group in a red hat approached the man at the bar again.

Moments later, the man got up and joined the group a second time.

That's when the situation turned violent, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Video of the chaos was published online Wednesday. The footage shows the brawlers making their way out of the bar area, throwing bar stools and table chairs, as patrons scramble to get away from them. The brawlers eventually come full circle around the entire seating area in the restaurant.  Others sitting at a table near the middle of the room stay seated throughout the incident.

Individuals in black attire, appearing to be restaurant employees, are later seen separating the brawlers.

The group involved in the fight eventually left the building without paying their bill, the Chronicle reported. The group had already left by the time police arrived, KPRC-TV reported. One man was even seen leaving without his shirt.

"We've done a lot of promoting to get families into our restaurants," Bayou City Wings CEO Charles Bryan told KTRK. "It's now our responsibility to ensure this type of incident doesn't occur again."

Max Thweatt, the company's director of operations, told KPRC it was the first time he had ever seen such a brawl.

"This is the first major incident that we've had in a very, very long time here at this establishment and any of our Bayou City Wings," Thweatt said.

"We're going to do our part to make sure something like that doesn't happen again," said Thweatt. "It just looks rough when someone is picking up chairs and throwing them. I have never seen that before. I have never seen that in our establishment before. Luckily, no one was injured. Everybody that was in here was not harmed. We're really grateful for that."

No one was injured as a result of the incident. The Chronicle reported that no charges had been filed as of Friday morning.

The Houston Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.
