Variety magazine editor Claudia Eller posted on Twitter Monday the cover of its April "Power of Women NY" edition, featuring none other than Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.
The cover features the 37-year-old Clinton in blue jeans, a white shirt and a black leather jacket. She's giving the camera a cheesy smile.
"How cool does Chelsea Clinton look on our Power of Women, NY, cover?" Eller wrote.
Predictably, the internet hit back hard. Many people mocked Clinton for her goofy face, while others saw the cover appearance as another attempt by the mainstream media to push the younger Clinton on America right on the heels of her mother's second presidential loss.
Indeed, ever since President Donald Trump's win last November, and even more since his inauguration, Democrats have increasingly tried to push Clinton into her parents footsteps and get her to run for political office.
She even had to tell Variety last month that though she desires for Trump to be defeated in the 2020 presidential election, she isn't the one who wants to do the defeating.
"I clearly do not support the president and certainly hope that he is defeated in the next election, but I don’t think I’m the best person for that job," she said. “If someone steps down or something changes, I’ll then ask and answer those questions at that time. But right now, no, I’m not running for public office."
Though she has made her feelings clear about running for office, Variety's decision to still put her on another cover and give her more airtime is just too much for a large portion of the country, which has had to deal with Clintons in politics for the last 25 years.

@Variety_Claudia @RaminSetoodeh Like some snotty rich kid who nearly the whole school hates, trying to look cool in a brand-new leather jacket. THAT'S "how cool".
