Watch: Unhinged liberal Maxine Waters goes off on Steve Mnuchin — and it was caught on video

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) went off on Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin during Thursday's House Financial Services Committee, almost refusing to allow him to speak.

Waters began by asking Mnuchin why she hadn't received a reply to a letter she'd send him months prior regarding President Donald Trump's finances.

When Mnuchin began to answer, Waters interrupted again and again, repeating "Reclaiming my time! Reclaiming my time!" in an attempt to force an answer out of him.

As a result of Waters' berating, Mnuchin could barely string a complete sentence together.

While trying to explain that his department has been attempting to cooperate with "multiple" congressional committees, and noted that he did respond, Waters refused to hear it.

“Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time,” Waters continued, speaking over Mnuchin's protests and explanations.

Mnuchin then asked committee chairman Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) to clarify the committee hearing rules for the sake of order.

He began, “Mr. Chairman, I thought when you read the rules, you acknowledged I shouldn’t be interrupted and that I would have ...”

Even then, Waters insisted on interrupting. “Reclaiming my time!” she shouted. “What he failed to tell you was, when you are on my time, I can reclaim it.”

Hensarling addressed the melee and said, "We will give the gentlelady adequate time. The time belongs to the gentlelady from California, but I assure you, majority members will allow you to answer the question when it is our time.”

Starting his explanation over once more, Mnuchin said, “We have been responsive and we are trying to coordinate with you the response, and we’ve suggested that you get the information through the other committees, but I would like to emphasize we believe we have been very responsive and will continue to do so.”

Waters, undeterred from slapping back with her "reclaiming my time" mantra, she concluded, "Thank you very much. You left a message."
