Nurse rants that white women raise 'terrorist, rapist, racist' sons who should be 'sacrificed

An Indiana nurse sparked outrage after she went on a Twitter rant Friday, claiming that white women raise "terrorist, rapist, racist" sons.

What did the tweet say?

The tweet, from Twitter user "Night Nurse," read, "Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star."

"Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves B****," the user added.

Who is this woman?

The Twitter user was later identified by WXIN-TV in Indianapolis as Taiyesha Baker, a nurse working with Indiana University Health.

Baker reportedly only became a nurse in October.

Was she disciplined?

WXIN revealed that Indiana University Health told the station on Sunday that Baker "is no longer an employee."

According to the station, a spokesperson for the company said, "A recently hired IU Health employee tied to troubling posts on social media this weekend is no longer an employee of IU Health."

The spokesperson told WXIN that Baker was a registered nurse but did not comment on which specific hospital employed her.

Leading up to Sunday's statement, the organization showed transparency in investigating the tweet.

A spokesperson for IU Health on Saturday told WXIN, "We are aware of the situation. Our Human Resources Department is investigating this issue and will take appropriate action."

Later that afternoon, the spokesperson added, "IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee. Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts. During the investigation, that employee (who does not work at Riley Hospital for Children) will have no access to patient care."

Is there more?

A Twitter account bearing the same handle as the one purportedly used by Baker has deleted historical tweets, but four remain.

A Saturday tweet from the account reads, "I am an awful racist with terrible opinions and I will never go anywhere in life if I keep this up. Who need's [sic] a job anyway when you can have worldwide hatred?"

A second tweet reads, "Fame comes at a price, soon everybody will know my name."
