Eat mor chikin: Hilarious video shows cow flee across highway — and straight to the local Chick-fil-A

You have to see it to believe it

A cow took to the streets of Noblesville, Indiana, on Saturday, crossing several lanes of traffic and ending up at a nearby Chick-fil-A.

What are the details?

The incident was captured in a now viral video shared to Facebook. In the video, you can see the Noblesville police chasing a sizable white cow that had apparently escaped its trailer.

Facebook user Athena Hopkins shared the video on Facebook, where it has been viewed more than 1 million times. Hopkins captioned the video, "So this just happened!!!!" Hopkins can be heard in the video asking, "Who loses a cow in Noblesville?"

Another person on Hopkins' video can be heard asking, "Hey, is it, like, a promo for Chick-fil-A? He's running to Chick-fil-A."

The person was, of course, pointing to the chain restaurant's use of a cow mascot who urges people to eat more chicken instead of beef.

According to KUTV-TV, the cow — which was drooling profusely — ended up in the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A located in the Hamilton Town Center.

The Noblesville Police Department also shared information on the incident on its Facebook page. A posting from the department read, "NPD was able to 'run with the bulls' last night," the post explained. "We were chasing this running wild bovine all over the east side. If you got a picture of our cowboy adventure comment with it! We love to see it."

The department added that they were able to corral the cow back into its owner's trailer.

"[W]e were able to herd the cow back in the trailer of the owner. We are sure there is video somewhere," a follow-up post read.

WTHR-TV reported that it took officers at least an hour to gain control of the cow.
