'He can't do the job': Former White House doctor says Biden is not cognitively fit for another four years in office

As President Joe Biden's 81st birthday approaches, chatter has resurfaced about the president's cognitive capabilities, especially in light of issues cropping up around the world.

Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, who previously served as a White House physician, noted that there are serious reasons to be concerned about Biden's cognitive abilities, according to Fox News Digital.

Jackson told "Sunday Morning Futures" guest anchor Sean Duffy that the situation with Biden's "[decline is] happening quickly."

"Like you said, I've taken care of three presidents… so I know firsthand what it takes to be the commander-in-chief and the head of state. It's a grueling job, both mentally and physically. This man can't do the job. He's proven to us every single day that he can't do the job, but this is going to get worse."

Jackson served as a White House physician under three presidents: George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.

In the summer of 2022, Jackson's campaign published a statement on its website, saying: "In 2018, following calls from Democrats and the mainstream media, Jackson gave President Trump a cognitive test. The precedent was set."

"Jackson sent a letter to President Biden in June 2021 and again in February 2022 calling on him to do the same. His requests have been ignored."

Jackson has previously claimed that Biden should take a cognitive test to prove he is fit for office or drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

"It's just unbelievable how much he's degenerated just during his time in office," Jackson said. "We cannot afford to have this man in office for the remainder of this term and then [for] another four years after that. He's already putting us at great risk right now."

While there has been a decline in the amount of young voters supporting Biden, the president's campaign has entertained the possibility of creating a TikTok account in order to appeal to America's youth.

Some have pointed out the apparent hypocrisy of Biden's camp, noting that the president previously outlawed the social media platform from all government devices earlier this year.

During the interview with Duffy, Jackson went on to mention the ongoing issues facing the U.S., such as international tensions, border control, and the economy.

"[Look at] the wars that we're getting drawn into. Things that wouldn't happen if Donald Trump were there because our enemies don't fear us anymore. They have no respect for us anymore and our adversaries don't trust us anymore, and it's because we don't have the leadership in the White House that we need," Jackson said.

"It's because this man, even if he wanted to, he cannot provide that leadership. He is not physically and cognitively fit for office anymore, and somebody in his inner circle needs to step up to the plate and make him aware of this, and he needs to move on for the safety and security of this country."
