Bridezilla: Vegan bride bans meat-eating guests — including her family — from 'fully vegan' wedding

Talk about "my way or the highway."

A 20-year-old bride is catching heat online after her outrageous wedding demand surfaced last month: She required every guest to go vegan. Not just for her wedding, but for the rest of their lives. Those who failed to comply with the prerequisite were promptly banned from attending.

What are the details?

In a Reddit thread meant to mock "insane people" from Facebook, the unknown bride posted in a vegan-only Facebook group that she was being sent on the ole' "guilt trip" for disinviting her family from the wedding for being "omnivores."

"Just for some context, some family members were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don't want to host murderers at our wedding which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives," the bride wrote.

As it turns out, the "family members" she referred to included her own mother and two cousins, who were part of her bridal party.

According to KABC-TV, the bride originally invited non-vegan guests, who agreed to participate in the "fully vegan" wedding. But the bride just could not live with herself knowing the non-vegans would return to their barbaric ways following her wedding celebration.

In a follow-up post in the "vegan revolution" Facebook group, the bride was unapologetic about disinviting her family.

"When I broke the news to them, all I got was attacked because I don't want the weight of having people that still kill animals (the very beings we are trying to protect) at my wedding on my conscience. I'm not sorry if that makes me 'rude' or 'a b***h' because I am not compromising the ethics that I share with everyone here," she said, according to Delish.com.

What else?

One of the bride's family members actually responded on Facebook, explaining the bride's decision has hurt her family, but accusations of hostility toward vegans is unequivocally false.

According to Brides.com, the unnamed bride lives in Australia.
