Far-left U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) became utterly unhinged at House Republicans Thursday over the ouster of fellow leftist U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

What did they say?

"I think one of the things that we should talk about here is also one of the disgusting legacies after 9/11 ... the targeting and racism against Muslim Americans throughout the United States of America," Ocasio-Cortez said, pounding a lectern, before referring to the ouster of Omar, who is Muslim. "And this is an extension of that legacy!"

She also accused Republicans of "racism and incitement of violence against women of color in this body. I had a member of the Republican Caucus threaten my life ... and the Republican Caucus rewarded him with one of the most prestigious committee assignments in this Congress." Ocasio-Cortez presumably was referring to GOP Rep. Paul Gosar (Ariz.) posting a video on social media that included a section in which Ocasio-Cortez's face was superimposed over a cartoon figure that's attacked by a character with Gosar's face superimposed on it.

Waving her hand and bouncing on her heels, she raised her voice even more and ordered listeners, "Don’t tell me this is about consistency! Don’t tell me that this is about ... a condemnation of anti-Semitic remarks when you have a member of the Republican caucus who has talked about Jewish space lasers and an entire amount of tropes and also elevated her to some of the highest committee assignments in this body!" Ocasio-Cortez presumably was referring to U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene; the pair have long been feuding.

Ocasio-Cortez — before slapping a notebook against the lectern in disgust and walking off — concluded by saying that "this is about targeting women of color in the United States of America! Don’t tell me, because I didn’t get a single apology when my life was threatened!"

"The GOP is now doing what it is best at: weaponizing hate against a black, beautiful, Muslim woman!" Tlaib hollered emotionally.

She added, "Where are the free speech warriors today? The hypocrisy is obvious to the American people! You are showing who you all are, really. I know Congresswoman Omar will not be silenced!"

As Tlaib was informed her time was up amid a banging gavel, Tlaib's voice began to crack and she raised her voice in a furious cry: "To Congress[wo]man Omar! I am so sorry, sis, that our country is failing you today through this chamber! You belong on that committee!"

"Let's talk about what's really happening," far-left U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) said. "Republicans are waging a blatantly Islamophobic and racist attack on Congresswoman Omar, and I've said it before, I will say it again: The white supremacy happening is unbelievable! This is despicable."

Bush said Omar has been attacked for "simply existing as a Muslim woman in this Congress"; in regard to the move to oust Omar, Bush added that "this is just a bunch of racist gaslighting — we all know it!"

Far-left U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) was a bit more measured but no less passionate:

Perhaps the most eye-opening moment took place amid a voice vote on the resolution to remove Omar from the Foreign Affairs committee. Democrats had their chance to vote "no" — and boy, did they ever:
