Money is the root of all evil when a nation's electorate goes bad

On Saturday, Duck Commander Phil Robertson sat down with "Economic War Room" host Kevin Freeman and discussed economics, faith, and our nation's Founding Fathers.

In this clip, Phil explained how money was the root of all kinds of evil, especially when a nation's electorate "goes bad."

"When the electorate goes bad and the evil one gains control of their life, they put in politicians who are just a reflection of the electorate," Phil said.

Phil noted the warnings from our Founding Fathers about the four things that happen when the electorate goes bad:

1. We lose our religion first
2. Then morality goes
3. Then virtue leaves
4. Then we lose our freedom

Later, Phil explained that he was a C+ student who set out to build the best duck call on the market. His goal, however, was not to become materially rich but to serve the people by supplying the best duck call on the market.
