Andrew Herzog and Miss Teen USA make their Super Bowl picks

Andrew Herzog talks with Danielle Doty, Miss Teen USA in 2011, about the Super Bowl. They cover the teams they are rooting for and what they are expecting for the Halftime Show, as well as the National Anthem. See additional commentary from Andrew below:

New England is projected to win 31-27 over Atlanta this Sunday. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, already in his 17th NFL season, has won 4 Super Bowl titles at this point, so it’s safe to say he’s good. Very good. He has almost single-handedly led his team to multiple championships and broken records of his own.

That all being said, the Atlanta Falcons will hopefully win this Sunday.

Once again I have no vested interest in one of the teams playing the Super Bowl. However, I am rooting for Atlanta simply because I don’t like New England. Do DeflateGate and SpyGate ring any bells? Also, New England is pompous, overrated and boring. Consistently dominating the game is perfectly fine, but it’s boring. I am rooting for the underdog.

Let’s not forget Aaron Hernandez (former tight end for the Patriots and convicted murderer) and Rob Gronkowski (current pretentious tight end who hangs out with porn stars). The Patriots don’t exactly keep good company or offer the best role models for our youth. Look to Peyton Manning or Jason Witten for emulation.

Finally, I’d like to see a team win its first Super Bowl, rather than a team win its record-breaking fifth. Maybe that’s just me.
