With all the news being thrown around in today's world, one of the most controversial has been Trump's "travel ban." Chris Salcedo maintains that even though the left fights for their belief that the ban is unconstitutional, President Trump acted one-hundred percent legally and lawfully in his actions. Chris states that the one thing liberals don't do is debate policy because it's easier when the government just says no. Chris describes a statute which deals with inadmissible aliens and their detriment to the interests of the United States which is located in Title 8, Section 12 of the U.S. Code:
(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President
"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."
