DNC response to anonymously sourced story over the top

The Democratic National Committee wasted no time releasing a statement yesterday after the Washington Post announced via anonymous sources that President Donald Trump had shared classified information with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Today on "The Chris Salcedo Show," Chris Salcedo shared the statement and conservative reactions to it.

The DNC said, "Russia no longer has to spy on us to get information – they just ask President Trump and he spills the beans with highly classified information that jeopardizes our national security and hurts our relationships with allies."

The White House, including national security adviser H. R. McMaster who was in the meeting with the Russian officials, continues to state that no information was divulged inappropriately.

Conservative writer and commentator Charles Krauthammer responded on Fox News last night that the DNC statement was "completely irresponsible. They have no idea what was revealed. They have no idea the gravity of it."

Later, DNC chairman Tom Perez said, "It is chilling to think that one of our nation’s greatest security threats is coming from inside the Oval Office," referring to the President.

Chris agreed with Krauthammer's assessment, as no sources have been confirmed in this story, but the DNC, in typical political fashion, leaps at any potential opportunity to discredit a political foe.
