Here's the rundown of the most ridiculous local 'man on the street' interviews

Everybody remembers Antoine Dodson’s interview decrying an attempted rapist that became an Internet sensation when it was auto-tuned for YouTube and inspired an iTunes hit.

"He's climbing in your windows,” Dodson famously warned about a suspected rapist in Lincoln Park. “He's snatching your people up, trying to rape 'em. So you all need to hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your husband, 'cause they're rapin' everybody out here."

His interview became an internet meme. But was it the best bystander interview of all time? On this week’s “The Jeff Fisher Show,” Jeffy Fisher took a look at his favorite "man on the street" interviews. He thought that Dodson actually came in third if you’re choosing the greatest local news moments of all time.

Jeffy’s clear favorite? A quote from a Rhode Island woman who summed up a crazy news story about a potato-wielding thief. “I heard it on the news. And I say, it was ridiculous, man,” local resident Linda Hopkins told Providence police after a robber reportedly used a potato to threaten people and attempted to rob two businesses.

To see more from Jeffy, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “The Jeff Fisher Show” Saturdays 9 a.m.–noon ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
