Tropical Storm Harvey, which peaked as a Category 4 hurricane, has wreaked havoc on the Gulf Coast and flooded homes in Texas. As of Monday morning, Houston had been doused with 30 inches of rain.
Mercury One is working with disaster partners to serve people in need due to the flooding, so Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere talked about some ways you can help Texas on Monday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”
Half of the state’s residents and a third of Texas’ landmass have been affected, according to local officials. Mercury One is partnering with several charities to provide search and rescue teams, food, blankets, drinking water, personal care kits, and more.
“They’ve been preparing to deploy on this since last week, so they’ve been ready, and they’re already there on the scene,” Pat said.
