Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri abruptly resigned over the weekend on a trip to Saudi Arabia. Hariri claimed Iran was meddling and inciting “devastation and chaos” in the region, saying he feared for his life.
“This is an amazing development,” Jason said. “We are witnessing a fundamental change in the Middle East. We really are. We’re in the middle of it, and the two primary actors are Saudi Arabia and Iran.”
