More call on DOJ to investigate the Clintons and the latest in high-profile proceedings
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testifies before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the September 11, 2012 attack on the US mission in Benghazi, Libya, during a hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, on January 23, 2013. Secy. Clinton warned of the challenges posed by rising militancy after the Arab Spring as she appeared before US lawmakers Wednesday to be grilled about a deadly attack. "Benghazi didn't happen in a vacuum," Clinton said at the start of a Senate hearing into the September 11 assault on a US mission in eastern Libya. More call on DOJ to investigate the Clintons and the latest in high-profile proceedings

Allan Saxe, Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas at Arlington, joined Justin Barclay filling in for Pat Gray on this episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed." Together, they discussed the latest proceedings, both in Washington and across the country.

Here's what they touched on:

  • Robert Mueller's Investigation: Special Counsel continues the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
  • Will Hillary Clinton ever be investigated? Republicans are waiting for more evidence to begin investigating Hillary Clinton's involvement in the Uranium One deal.
  • Roy Moore: Saxe believes sexual assault allegations have gone too far in the court of public opinion and touted Vice President Mike Pence for not meeting with women unless his wife is present. "It's gotten to be, I think, at this point, a little bit nonsensical," said Saxe. Saxe made an exception for victims who are minors and can prove sexual misconduct occurred in the case of Roy Moore. Justin also brought up the issue of the victim's timing. "But, again, 40 years ago?" asked Justin.
  • More Bill Clinton accusations: Far-fetched conspiracy theories claim sexual assault allegations are being purposely orchestrated to eventually bring down President Trump.

Professor Saxe raised some great questions in the podcast, but what do you believe?
