Roger Ailes reportedly conducted intense, unusual interviews of potential Fox News hosts

Glenn Beck talks about his experience interviewing with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes for a job at the conservative news network. The way Glenn tells it, Ailes attempted to throw Glenn off his game by asking bizarrely specific questions about U.S. history and Glenn's personal life. Luckily, Glenn kept his cool and gave honest, thoughtful answers that eventually landed him the job.

"I don't know if that's the way they do interviews at Fox anymore," Glenn says. "I don't know if I'm the only one that got an interview at Fox like that, but that was the toughest damn interview I ever had in my life."
