Russia colluded with these American groups to tighten its grip on Eastern Europe
July 26, 2017
Russia has been sending funds through Bermudan money laundering groups that in turn funnel money to anti-fracking groups in the United States. Representatives Randy Weber (R-Texas) and Lamar Smith (R-Texas) of the House Subcommittee on Energy sent a letter to Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin on June 29, detailing this operation.
Congressman Weber told Chris Salcedo on today’s “Chris Salcedo Show” that Russia is trying to maintain its “death grip on Eastern Europe.” He and Smith visited Poland and Latvia, meeting with many officials and citizens. Their people voiced concerns that Russian president Vladimir Putin is trying to control them and their economy by shutting down their pipeline -- which has already occurred, leaving them, Ukraine, and several other nations without heat during bitter winters.
He also reported that the people are afraid of a Russian invasion. Weber said the solution is to open up the United States energy market to Eastern Europe, which President Donald Trump promised in a speech to the Polish people on July 6. Weber also hopes Mnuchin will follow the Russian money trail and discover the foreign agents with which the anti-energy groups have colluded.
