Steve Rudner of Equality Texas opposes forced outing of gay students to their parents

Steve Rudner, Chairman of Equality Texas, joins Doc Thompson to debate a proposed new Texas Senate bill that would force schools to out gay students to their parents. While Steve and Doc agree that students should be able to begin making their own lifestyle choices as they near adulthood, Doc thinks parents should always be aware of the choices their children make.

"I don't think the school should be allowed to start and encourage their transitioning without the parents' knowledge," Doc states. "But you're right, a parent should know."
