Texas moves one step closer to joining Convention of States

Glenn Beck, Pat Gray, Stu Burguiere and Jeff Fisher bring awareness to listeners about Article V of the Constitution, which reads in part:

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments

Today, the Texas Senate approved a set of bills that would add Texas to the burgeoning Convention of States movement. Apparently, the bills would need to pass an additional vote in the Senate before being passed on to the Texas House for consideration.

"If you live in Texas, you have got to call Austin," Glenn urges. "You have to tell them, 'Pass this! Join the Convention of States!'"
