Cam Edwards and Miss E covered a range of topics from whether or not college degrees are always necessary to jobs to pruning back on social media input.
They read an email from listener, Trent, who began by telling them that he was putting his "degree to good use" working for a lawn care service in town which prompted this response from Miss E:
"Okay, you got a degree, you stretched out your brain, you got a piece of paper, that's all well and good. I grew up with [the idea that] you get a job, no matter what kind of job. ... Any kind of job is a good thing, because if you don't like it, you still work at it, but you work harder to get something better."
Cam went on to read from the email where the listener described how unpleasant social media had become, due to its contentiousness, causing him to weed out the culprits from whom he is following on Twitter, revealing how much more enjoyable it has become after doing this. The email concluded with the listener expressing his impatience for winter to finally be over.
"Should be a bumper year for impatiens, though Trent. I think lots of folks growing impatiens this year," Cam stated with adept wordplay.
