Elon Musk joins forces with Ron DeSantis to help Florida after Hurricane Ian

On “The Rubin Report” Monday, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin talked about SpaceX CEO Elon Musk partnering with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to provide satellite service for victims of Hurricane Ian.

During a news conference Saturday, DeSantis announced that Musk’s Starlink satellite internet service will send at least 120 "large Starlink units" to provide internet access for residents and emergency crews in areas of Florida that are still without internet connectivity after the hurricane.

Starlink has "donated all the costs associated with the coverage,” according to DeSantis.

Dave, who lives in Florida, applauded DeSantis' ongoing response to the hurricane, saying, "He's out there doing everything he can."

Dave also talked about Vice President Kamala Harris sparking outrage with her comments about equity in distributing hurricane relief through FEMA, MSNBC’s Joy Reid using her Hurricane Ian coverage to attack Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and DeSantis over climate change, and Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications at the United Nations Melissa Fleming's on-air admission that the United Nations got Google to censor search results because they “own the science."
