'Look what we did, we got Trump out': Undercover video allegedly shows staffer admitting CNN used 'propaganda' to oust Trump

On "The Rubin Report" this week, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin discussed the most recent Project Veritas tapes in which an CNN insider allegedly admits on tape that CNN's "focus" was to oust former President Donald Trump and the network intentionally mislead viewers with anti-Trump "propaganda" to achieve that goal.

Dave shared a video clip of Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe confronting a man he identified as CNN technical director Charlie Chester about the secretly recorded video.

"Our [CNN's] focus was to get Trump out of office, right, without saying that's what it was," Chester can be heard saying in the Project Veritas video.

"Look what we did, we [CNN] got Trump out. I am 100 percent going to say it, and I 100 percent believe that if it wasn't for CNN, I don't know that Trump would have got voted out. I came to CNN because I wanted to be a part of that," he boasted.

In a second video clip, Chester explains how CNN would often "creat[e] a story" to make President Trump seem to be "neurologically damaged" and "unfit." He also admitted that he knew what they were doing was "propaganda."

"[Trump's] hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to tell a story that was all speculation that he was neurologically damaged, and he was losing it. He's unfit to, you know, whatever. We were creating a story there that we didn't know anything about. That's what, I think that's propaganda," he said.

"They were a place of journalism, but it's become very obvious, like most institutions, that they have become deeply, deeply corrupt," Dave said of CNN. "This is sort of what the fight of our time is about: can these institutions correct themselves (I no longer think so), can we build new institutions (I think we must), and what happens as these institutions try to hold on?"
