Discovery Channels 'Gold Rush' star joins Dana, promises a 'miraculous' plot twist

Gold digger Todd Hoffman appeared on Dana Loesch's show Wednesday to give her the 411 on Discovery Channel' No. 1 show, “Gold Rush."

"I'm losing money," he says. "You're watching me lose hundreds of thousands of dollars. And it's not fun."

"... I found a place, and according to the map, there's a chance I can get 5,000 ounces so that's why I said it, but what you're seeing is me fall so far short from that. I feel like a fool for even saying it."

The reality TV star is contractually obligated to keep the rest of the season's "plot" under wraps, but he does say that views can expect a surprise, something he describes as miraculous.
