Disney celebs say Disney Princesses are bad role models for their daughters
October 18, 2018
Actress Kristen Bell, who voiced the character of Princess Anna on Disney's “Frozen,” told Parents Magazine that Disney princesses are not good role models for her two young daughters.
"Every time we close 'Snow White,' I look at my girls and ask, 'Don't you think it's weird that Snow White didn't ask the old witch why she needed to eat the apple? ... Don't you think that it's weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission?" Bell explained. Read more on this here.
Bell isn’t the only actress of Disney fame to have issue with Disney princesses. Keira Knightly, who starred in Disney’s "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, told TV host Ellen DeGeneres that she doesn't allow her 3-year-old daughter to watch Disney's "Cinderella" because the female character "waits around for a rich guy to rescue her.”
Watch the video at the top of the page to hear Pay Gray and Stu Burguiere, who are filling in for Glenn Beck Thursday, react to the "dangers" of Disney's princesses.
