Elizabeth Warren deflects, focuses on the plight of immigrants instead of Mollie Tibbetts' murder
August 24, 2018
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is under fire for delivering a tone-deaf message during an interview Tuesday on the death of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts.
On Thursday's episode of "The Morning Blaze," Doc Thompson aired Warren's interview with CNN where she deviated from a question regarding the murder of Tibbetts at the hands of a man believed to be an illegal alien and instead focused on the plight of immigrants.
Warren offered her quick condolences to the family and reminisced about a visit to the southern border where she said she witnessed children being taken from their mothers.
See her response below and read more on this story here.
