Glenn Beck spoke about his experience going down to Mexico over the weekend to work with Operation Underground Railroad on Monday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.” He met with up-and-coming businesswomen who didn’t let their history of being trapped as sex slaves stop them from being forces of nature.
“These are powerful, powerful women,” he said.
One woman was sold into sex slavery at just 12 years old by a man who promised he would marry her and protect her from her abusive family. During a five-year period, she was raped by dozens of “clients” per day and forced to have abortions when it resulted in pregnancies. Now at 20, she is a mom after begging to be allowed to keep her baby after three abortions.
“He only let her keep the baby, she found later, because he had more control over her,” Glenn told the horrifying story.
Ultimately, her story is one of hope because of her incredible strength and resilience.
“This woman has gone through everything, and she’s not crying,” Glenn said. “She’s getting on with her life, and she’s making a profound difference with her life.’
