LISTEN: Dianne Feinstein and other Democrats discuss the importance of border security

On Tuesday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," the guys discussed the caravan of 7,500 migrants that is making its way through Mexico from Guatemala and Honduras. The caravan has been quite clear about its destination: the U.S.-Mexico border.

In response, President Donald Trump has threatened to send the U.S. military to the border to stop the caravan when it arrives, which according to the Democrats, is "hateful" and "outrageous."

Perhaps the most frustrating part of this debacle is the way the Democrats have been critical of  Trump's threat without offering a single solution to fix the problem.  Instead, Democrats in Washington, D.C., have led the public to believe that the U.S. should allow everyone to stay here without any kind of structure or questions being asked.

Democrats were not always radical leftists on immigration

Pat played audio of Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Hillary Clinton, and others who have flip-flopped on the immigration issue. At one time, these Democratic opportunists were against open borders.

What has been said in the past?

Bill Clinton: "All Americans, not only to the states most heavily affected but in every state in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country."

Hillary Clinton: "What we need to do simultaneously is secure our borders with technology, personnel, physical barriers if necessary in some places."

Harry Reid: "If making it easy to be an illegal alien isn't enough, how about offering a reward for being an illegal immigrant. No sane country would do that."

Dianne Feinstein: "We should enforce our borders. To have a situation where 40 percent of the babies born on Medicaid in California today are born of illegal immigrants creates a very real problem for the state. Border control is a federal responsibility. We simply don't enforce our borders adequately and in my state, you have roughly 2,000 people a day illegally who cross the border. Now, this adds up to about 2 million people who compete for housing and who compete for classroom space. We've had a Medicaid situation wherein 1988, there were 3,000 people on Medicaid. Today, there are nearly 300,000 people on Medicaid who are illegal aliens and that presents obvious problems."

John Kerry: "Here's what I will do. No. 1: The borders are leaking more today than they were before 9/11;  The fact is that we haven't done what we need to do to toughen up our borders, and I will."

Barack Obama: "We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country."

What's changed?

Pat asserted that Democrats do not care about illegal immigrants but rather see them as a means to a political end.

"Democrats took a look at the demographics and the likely voting tendencies of these illegal immigrants," Pat said. "Democrats don't care."

Pat lamented that if Democrats care about the caravan of Hondurans heading toward the U.S. border they would insist that those entering the country illegally assimilate to our way of life. Instead, Democrats accuse people of being racist for even suggesting that English is the national language in the United States.

"Democrats don't care."
