Watch: A man in Florida punched an ATM – and the reason why is even crazier
January 05, 2018
A 23-year-old man in Florida was charged with criminal mischief after a month-long investigation into a “disturbance” at a Wells Fargo location. What did he do?
Michael Joseph Oleksik was captured on security cameras punching the electronic touchscreen on the ATM machine, according to authorities. The bank said he caused $5,000 in damages.
Oleksik later called the bank to apologize, telling the manager he was in a hurry for work and “angry the ATM was giving him too much money and he did not know what to do.”
In other news, a woman robbing a cash register left behind identification when she hopped over the counter, and a couple sending illegal drugs by drone eventually got caught. Doc and Kal had some hilarious crime stories to share for today’s “Friday leftovers.” Listen to the full segment here for these stories and go here for more “leftovers,” including a story about a drunk “Burger King.”
