Why the world is so concerned with Yemen

Glenn Beck takes us back once again into the past to discover the importance of Yemen in world peace.

Back in the 15th century, the Silk Road dominated world trade, and the Ottoman Empire controlled the majority of sea ports transporting goods to Europe, including the crucial Strait of Hormuz and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.

Both choke points remain critical trade passages for oil products, and today Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz.
