She just lost some wokeness points
When asked if she supports the "Black Lives Matter" movement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) responded she believes "all lives matter."
Come on, Nance. You know progressives don't like that.
The question was presented by an African American student attending Trinity University at a town hall that aired Friday night on MSNBC. Though she said she has supported the movement in the past, it was Pelosi's statement that "all lives matter" that created a frenzy on the already-prone-to-frenzies social media.
For many Black Lives Matter activists, the phrase, "all lives matter" downplays the historical struggles of African Americans against racism. Many on Twitter were not shy in expressing their distaste for Pelosi's statement:
It's probably okay, though. She can drink a beer with Sen. Warren or have a dance party with AOC, and all will be well again.
