Dem Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema caught on video again in 2010: Arizona is ‘the meth lab of Democracy’ [WATCH]

Yet another “October surprise” from the past has surfaced for a Democratic candidate in her bid for an Arizona Senate seat.

A video released by the Senate Leadership Fund on Friday shows Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D- Ariz., trashing the state she hopes to represent in the Senate at a left-wing political conference in 2010. Sinema’s opponent is Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz.

"My state, Arizona, is clearly the meth lab of democracy,” Sinema says to uproarious laughter and applause from the audience on the video. “And I cannot take credit for that line, someone at the Daily Show wrote it, but I’m happy to steal it and use it all the time.”

The video follows just a day after other footage of Sinema calling Arizona “crazy” surfaced.

In contrast to views like these and her 2003 characterization of the Iraq War as “U.S. terror,” Sinema has tried to run as a “centrist” Democrat so far in this race.

A recent poll of likely Arizona voters found McSally ahead in the race by six points.
