LevinTV host Mark Levin began his radio show Tuesday evening discussing how the state of California has effectively seceded from the United States through its sanctuary city policies and support for an open southern border.
Levin told his audience that President Trump has shown “exceptional leadership” in trying to secure the country’s southern border. “He has fought for the wall. He has demanded money for the wall. He was undermined by his own party. … He's trying to secure this border.”
He continued, discussing how California has turned into the greatest adversary to U.S. border security.
“California has de facto seceded from the nation in many respects,” Levin commented.
“It doesn’t follow our immigration laws. It’s got two dozen lawsuits against the federal government. It has undermined our constitutional system. … It nullifies laws.”
“And you have a president of the United States who's fighting it,” he reminded listeners. “He deserves credit where credit is due.” Listen:
