Levin discusses ‘historic’ Trump action on Iran deal with John Bolton

LevinTV host Mark Levin interviewed national security adviser John Bolton on his radio show Tuesday, discussing the new reality after the Iran deal. It was Bolton's first radio interview following President Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from President Obama’s commitment to the nuclear deal with the terrorist regime that rules Iran.

Before bringing on Bolton, Levin applauded President Trump’s “great decision” to pull out of the Iran deal, describing it as a “statesman-like decision.”

Levin continued, debunking Team Obama talking points about the Iran deal’s supposed strengths. He pointed out that the deal hasn’t stopped Iran from supporting worldwide terrorism, nor has it stopped Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.

Bolton told Levin’s audience that the Iran nuclear deal “was fundamentally flawed” and “did not contribute to the security of the United States.”

“In fact, it had exactly the opposite result. It was providing cover for Iran to continue to make progress toward an objective it’s had for decades, which is deliverable nuclear weapons,” he added.

Bolton explained that in withdrawing from the Iran deal, “all the sanctions that Obama suspended three years ago are effective again immediately.”

He further stated that “Iran loves this deal” because it stopped the economic pressure campaign on the regime that rules over the country.

“This is an ideological regime that's trying to spread its control across the whole region … that, we’re trying to bring to a stop,” Bolton added. Listen:
