After Tuesday night’s Republican loss in Alabama's Senate special election, LevinTV host Mark Levin says it’s time to have a nationwide debate about what the Republican establishment is doing to the conservative movement and its candidates.
On his national radio program Wednesday, Levin laid the blame for the party’s loss in the Yellowhammer State squarely at the feet of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and his surrogates for their "character assassination" and attacks on Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., during the Republican primary.
It’s time that conservatives took down the GOP smart set and its “pseudo-conservative media” lackeys, Levin said. McConnell should have stayed out of the special election and "treated the people of Alabama with some respect," said Levin.
