Levin schools ‘ignorant’ libs on how a president — yes, even Trump — can order an investigation

Conservative Review

In hour two of his radio program Wednesday, LevinTV host Mark Levin responded to the "myth" that President Trump somehow violated the norms of the presidency by meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray and ordering an investigation into how his campaign may have been spied on by the Obama administration during the 2016 election.

Levin shared the history of how past presidents, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and others, have directly ordered investigations because that's the power of the presidency.

"President Trump simply asked his deputy attorney general and his FBI director to investigate the extent to which his campaign was surveilled by the prior administration," Levin said. He added that nothing the president has done defies presidential norms.

"He's done nothing like Washington did, or Adams did, or Jefferson did, or Jackson did. Not even close, and look how they trash him. Look how they trash him, because they're ignorant!" Levin said.
